Why do you think that Susan and Charlie fought a lot?

    I think Kane was more in love with the thought of Susan rather than actually being in love with Susan which would have probably been to blame for most of their fighting.

    It seemed that both of them were pretty selfish and materialistic. Charlie just tried to boost the image of himself and Susan always wanted more. So I think they just collided.

    I agree with the fact that they were both selfish and materialistic. They didn't seem to care much about what the other one wanted, which would definitely mess up a marriage. It also shows the only person they really love is them self.
