Why do you think the italian american store owners wont put any pictures of of african american people up on the wall?

    I think it's because one of the sons doesn't like black people.

    I think it's because he's really proud of being Italian so that's how he is showing his pride. By putting up photographs of black people he is not only supporting Italians but blacks too.

    I'm not really sure why he doesn't put any pictures of black people up. It could be like Kelsey said about how one of his sons not liking black people or it could be that no one has asked him to put pictures of black people up.

    Maybe because it is an Italian restaurant and all people on wall are Italian, that's the theme.

    Really, I think Sal put up photos of Italian people because he was surrounded by blacks and he wanted some of his own people with him.
